Troy Griffiths
Director & Principal Consultant, Corporate Risk Management
With over two decades of specialised expertise spanning commercial property, facilities management (FM), trade operations, and occupational health and safety (OHS), Troy delivers a unique operational perspective to the corporate and commercial property risk landscape.
Troy’s entry into the commercial property sector began entirely by chance. As a 19-year-old student, he took a role as a building concierge at one of Perth's iconic buildings on the Terrace to fund his studies. His natural aptitude for complex building environments quickly reshaped his career trajectory, fast-tracking him to become the youngest Facilities Manager operating along Perth’s premier commercial strip. Driven by a passion for the practical mechanics of property assets, Troy later founded Trayd Australia, establishing one of Perth’s leading commercial project and trade management companies.
As safety compliance demands escalated across industries, Troy bridged his field experience with his formal OHS qualifications, establishing a specialised compliance division within the company. Following a successful transition of the core trade business, he transitioned this division into an independent standalone entity, which evolved into what is now known as Corporate Risk Management. Today, the firm delivers tailored compliance auditing, risk consulting, and advisory services across all sectors, including commercial property, facilities management, critical infrastructure, public utilities, mining, transport, education, and construction. Supported by their proprietary Simpliance software, Troy's mission is replacing rigid frameworks with highly practical, real-world compliance solutions.
Leading a diverse team of over 30 specialised consultants, Troy champions a modern leadership philosophy rooted in psychological safety and genuine autonomy. By shifting away from traditional hierarchies, he empowers his team to innovate, mentor, and drive the next generation of risk management, ensuring compliance acts as a catalyst for safer, more efficient workplaces across Australia.
